Not only does our buddy poppy program give employment to disabled veterans, but it provides us a means to help local veterans in need. All money raised during our buddy poppy drives goes to helping veterans! When you see our members around town stop by and say hello and wear the buddy poppy to show your support for our brave men and women who have served and are serving today! Let everyone know you care.
Coming home doesn't mean the battle is over. With over 10 times the amount of veterans lost to suicide than to combat operations in the same time period, there has never been a more important time to TAKE A STAND and DO something to support our veterans!! If you or someone you know is suffering from PTSD, we have people that have shared a similar experience and are ready to help.
As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.
Don't forget, Wednesday's are supper night! Come enjoy a wholesome meal and some great fellowship! Bring a covered dish if you can and remember, we only take donations to help cover costs!
